The only
Difference between a ux job title as product design title is the title. I’ve help both back and forth. And you can paint a customer centric first idealized view of ux but user experience design jobs would have never grown in demand wouldn’t be so high paying if designers didn’t simultaneously consider business feasibility and user experience simultaneously I mean it sounds like a very obvious lie to not mention beyond the roi of ux that working under the title of ux designer that the business needs were not a consideration in fact they were the entire reason you had a job to being with. Big tech used to call all their ux ppl product designers and in an effort to attract top talent other companies started using the title too. And this is what bothers me so much about designers these days it’s what I see consistently bickering designers in linkeldn or click bait whiney articles on medium . Concerned which meaningless things that don’t matter like titles bc they mean something completely different depending on where you work ux is also different depending on where you worn. Corporations have done enough cherry picking of different methods to know what works and what doesn’t. Yah it’s a bummer. But so is working in tech
